About Dr. Bharat Thakkar

Professor Thakkar is a widely respected Reliability Engineering and Management expert with decades of grounding in mechanical engineering. He brings with him high-end fusion of engineering and management having worked at major corporations.

After his retirement from his corporate life, he is a much sought after professor at several Chicago institutions, including the Illinois Institute of Technology, the North Illinois University and the Walden University. During a career spanning nearly five decades he has published several papers and overseen many projects to a successful fruition. Apart from his professional calling, Dr. Thakkar is a high regarded poet in the Gujarati and English languages with several collections to his name.

Dr. Thakkar has been offering workshops worldwide on 'Reliability Engineering & Management' for the past over 20 years. At the heart of the workshops is the belief that all products require reliability.
